Houses of Worship:-                


       The Quran mentions of course the Masgids, which are the places where people prostrate themselves in Muhammadan Islam.

       It also names the holy places of the Christians and the Jews -

22: 40        (They are) those who have been expelled from their homes in defiance of right (for no cause) except that they say "Our Lord is Allah." Did not Allah check one set of people by means of another there would surely have been pulled down monasteries [Sawami'] churches [Beia']  synagogues [Salawat] and mosques [Masagid] in which the name of Allah is commemorated in abundant measure. Allah will certainly aid those who aid His (cause); for verily Allah is Full of Strength Exalted in Might (Able to enforce His Will).

       *** This verse belongs to Surat al Hajj (Pilgimage) during his Meccan period when his 'revelations' were conciliatory, truly 'spiritual' and mild in content.

       Unfortunately, almost every one of these earlier Meccan verses, were later ABROGATED by the much more strident, warmongering and hatemongering ones emanating from Muhammad's mouth during his stay in Madina.

       According to Muhammadan exegetes, about 71 Suras out of 114, have either Abrogating or Abrogated verses in them; that is, 62.28% of the Suras of the Quran contain verses that are irrelevant to the lives and learning of the Muhammadans ***
